  just heard from a pimi cousin who recently attended a convention, and remarked about the low attendance.

  peak was about 500. i remember that circuit, in years past, had attendances of 1000+.

  it's been over a decade now since i last attended a jw convention.

  i left the organization in 2017.. was in several congregations in the north west of england.

  i just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have posted on here over the years, it really helped me to see the truth about the organization.

  i lurked here for many years under an anonymous login and then finally plucked up the courage to write my disassociation letter.. adam.

  susanne eigenheer is an ex-jw and suffered religious abuse in eric wilson's group.

  her personal statement and experiences within the beroean pickets study groups was one of betrayal where she was taken advantage of financially.

  in one text conversation, wendy wiens disfellowshiped susanne and demanded an apology from her.

  This is how & why critical thinking skills are essential. To avoid & prevent one's mind from succumbing & being victimized by such groups

  Mike & Kim were talking about this on a video a few weeks ago. Straw man arguments are what draws people into the Borg.

  so, i am a musician and composer in my spare time, but serious enough to be affiliated with the national author's association.

  i have entertained the idea of writing a conceptual album about one person's personal journey into a cult, living the cult, and leaving the cult and beyond.

  i hope this will resonate, not only with jw's but with people who are going, or went, through similar journeys.
